IGNITE TEACHES | Syndey Tanji

BIO:

Sydney Tanji is a dancer and choreographer from Tustin, California.  Sydney grew up dancing at south coast performing arts dance studio where she pursued competition dance in a variety of different styles.  She has continued her education at Orange Coast Community College and was the inaugural recipient of the Dorothy Dottie Dudridge scholarship as well as the Dahlin award for creativity.  Sydney has attended many conferences and intensives such as the American College Dance Conference, Jazz dance Alliance, The Taylor intensive, jumpstart LA and many more.  She is based in the OC and LA area and is currently signed with Go2Talent agency.

CLASS DESCRIPTION:

Class will start with a quick warm up/ stretch sequence then move into an improv exercise  focusing on narrative based prompts to encourage fully immersing yourself in your dancing.  The class will then be taught a combo in a contemporary fusion style with a heavy emphasis on focus and character development.
