LUME DEEA Certification Weekend
December 17th & 18th 10am-4pm. Our LUME community is invited to our DEEA certification. BOTH DAYS are mandatory for attendance, 18+years. DEEA provides education, policies & accountability pathways to embed anti-racism, anti-othering, & anti abuse into the DNA of dance education.

Our LUME community is invited to attend our very own DEEA certification weekend, lead by Geri Brown:

Dancers/Educators in LUME 18+ yrs
(This certification will be held REMOTELY on Zoom. It is free for ALL LUME dancers & choreographers who participate and as a result, will receive your individual DEEA certification for 2023. 75% Participation in the workshop is required to receive your certification.)
Dance Education Equity Association, DEEA, (pronounced dee-double e- a) is an organization dedicated to supporting dance education through our BE COURAGEOUS courses and community collaboration. We provide education and establish policies, procedures, and compassionate accountability pathways to embed anti-racism, anti-othering, and anti-abuse practices into the DNA of dance education. By working together, in compassion, we will build dance education spaces for all.
